Actually my OCI “card” (booklet) does mention my local address, and the correct one too.

I have never actually used this OCI card or my foreign passport to get any services in India. Need to try this for something.

An informative article to the new generation. But think a bit of its one-sided nature. Anyways, I too agree with the bipolar attitude EMS always had with. Why did he kept his surname which boasts the upper cast ethos? Like. I want to know something about his stands on Azheekodan Murder and the undivided communist party along with (or against) A.V.Aryan.

Everyone knows what Fomaa means, and who are the people behind it, their credibility, their history… (John Titus is an exception, he gave all homes with his money…)
No matter whatever good things John Titus planned, some will make sure they make 10 grant out of it….watch out the mafia which is still active behind scenes..

When people comment using words like ‘tragedy’ about a convention that was held to donate 33 houses to the poor, followed by a medical camp for the needy, it appears that our community has lost sight on differentiating good from bad.

We have learned not to trust anyone because of the past deeds of a few. Yet, it is shameful to mistrust everyone ! Please grow up ….

I think Thilakan is ensnared in the hands of some miscreants who wanted to contempt and ruin the image of other cine artists and their association “AMMA.” His issue is not serious as he believes. His problem should have been resolved amicably without any hindrance if he presented his case truthfully and appropriately. Instead, he exaggerated the whole issue and let the matter to slip out of his hands. Everybody know who is Sukumar Azheekode and his unnecessary involvements in various issues. Thilakan should stop making malicious statements against Mohanlal, Mammootty and other co-artists and must stop the mud slinging game. Thilakan should understand the fact that by involving politicians and other so-called leaders not only worsen the situation but ruin the image and life of each and every artists and also of the entire cinema world.

I can’t understand why all indian students are going to Australia for studying? I am thinking no Australian universities far better than our IITs, IIMs and other famous educational Universities and institutions. These people can try other countries which they have least racial discrimination. Indians are still believing that western educational system and their learning are far better than ours. It is an illusion. I believe our educational system is one of the best educational system in the world. This is from my personal experience. Think 100 times before taking a decision to go to countries with nasty racial discriminations to indians.

This is a good idea, please take action to point out these defects by organizations like FOKANA to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Presently FOKANA is conducting OCI camps, I believe they can bring this to the notice of Mr. Vylar Ravi, our malayalee Cabinet Minister.
Plastic card is far better than present oci book. Instead of trying to get the voting power for overseas indians, they can do these type of important thing which affects every foreign indians.
